German-Dutch Fieldlab
Artificial Intelligence for Digital Twins (AI4DT)
How could industry survive better in times of Corona and digitalization than if Germany and the Netherlands support each other on the way into the future?
To provide access for companies to solutions and knowledge in the fields of smart industries, digital twin, artificial intelligence and Industry 4.0, the Ministry of the Economic Affairs, Labour and Tourism of Baden-Württemberg supports various research institutions, knowledge and competence centers with regional roots. The regional government of Noord-Brabant, in turn, promotes smart industry fieldlabs such as the Brainport Industries Campus in Eindhoven.
Through close coordination between the two regions, competencies in the field of Digital Twin are to be bundled, activities strengthened and networked in the spirit of the European idea for the benefit of companies, especially small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs).
Through joint b2b networking events, professional trainings, discussions, seminars and on-site visits in 2021 and beyond, the aim is to identify digitalization potential in companies, share knowledge, initiate company partnerships and implement new solutions in implementation projects. The b2b matchmaking takes place virtually on this platform in joint events or 1:1 meetings as well as on-site in the Fieldlabs the Werk150 - the factory on the campus of the ESB Business School of Reutlingen University and the Brainport Industries Campus in Eindhoven.
